Does Cheap Conveyancing Mean Poor Quality?

The simple answer to the question is: No, just because you are paying less for your conveyancing does not mean that you are paying for an inferior service. The thing is that all solicitors must be fully qualified and licensed before they are allowed to practice therefore you know that the solicitor will know exactly what needs to be done. The reason for cheap conveyancing is usually that solicitor in question is still relatively inexperienced so they are offering a lower rate while they get to build up their reputation.

More experienced solicitors will have already built up a client base and these clients will either come back again in the future or recommend them to friends and family.  This means that they will likely have a steady supply of business coming their way already, which in turn means they no longer need to offer cheap conveyancing services.

Supply And Demand

It’s all a matter of supply and demand. A less experienced solicitor will not have an established clientele base so they will need to lower their charges to attract business. Some people may also be unsure of using a less experienced solicitor should a problem arise so again the less experienced solicitor offer cheap conveyancing services to encourage new customers to choose them over their competition.
